I have always considered myself to be meticulous and level headed, creative individual. Goal setting and the ability to use my own initiative in any situation have always been important as I am a firm believer in the age old paradigm " what the mind can conceive it can achieve!" For me there is beauty in simplicity of function and as a creative designer who has worked across many mediums this always shines through.Having always had great aspirations as a person and having been fortunate to have opportunities throughout my career to combine my creative talents, communication skills and commitment to achieve high standards through production processes across a number of key platforms, resulted in a positive impact throughout the years." To do a thing is to know a thing" and being as passionate an individual as I am, I have acquired vast experience and a plethora of business and creative application skills through self determination and education. This is allows me to adapt easily and reach for success! Some of my creative career achievements include:1991/1997 -South African National DJ. Championship finalist. First recognised independent DJ to be considered a performing artist at The Standard Bank National Arts Festival 1993. 1999/2000 - Graphic Design -Chosen as part of project team to work on design of medal for Old Mutual “Two Oceans Marathon”
1999/2000 - Design adaptation and presentation of “official badges” for twenty seven African countries for Sydney 2000 Olympics and Salt Lake City 2000 Winter Olympics.2002 - Appointed first South African Official Graphic Designer for “O'Neill International” Surf and performance apparel.2003 - Re- design and Concept Graphic Design Artist commissioned to Woolworths S.A. For inception of “Barrier Reef” Clothing label and range which became Woolworths S.A. Official youth apparel label.2004 - Appointed official Concept Graphic Design Artist for S.A. Rugby, Cats, Bulls, Stormers, Super 12, RugbyTech supporter and official apparel. 2006 – Founded Acom – Amalgamated Communications
