Dedicated to driving profound social impact, I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of Lori's Hands. Leading a high-performing team, we advance innovative health and education programs across Newark, DE; Baltimore, MD; and Detroit, MI, redefining aging in place, community health service learning, healthcare, and education. The heart of Lori's Hands lies in fostering intergenerational connections between clients battling chronic illness and student volunteers from 20+ universities. In steering initiatives, spearheading fundraising, and providing strategic leadership, I refine my skills to navigate complex challenges, contributing to a transformative approach that leaves a lasting impact.In addition to my role as a nonprofit Executive Director, I proudly hold the title of Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. This commitment extends beyond professional duty, embodying a true passion for continuous personal and professional development, as demonstrated in my ongoing lifelong learning and self-improvement journey. From 2020 to 2023, I served as the Executive Director of Leadership Centre County, skillfully guiding the organization through a transformative period. In this role, I had the distinct privilege of working closely with hundreds of our region's established and emerging leaders from diverse professional backgrounds. Collaborating with individuals from various walks of life was a true professional honor, gaining invaluable insights into leadership, management, and team building. This experience showcased my adaptability, strategic vision, and ability to thrive in challenging environments and deepened my understanding of effective leadership dynamics.Actively engaged in community service, I currently preside as the Board of Directors President of the Rotary Club of State College/Downtown, fervently championing service projects and community development. Furthermore, my contributions extend to the Board of Directors of Volunteer Centre County, highlighting my enduring dedication and passion for leadership and community engagement.
