Helping the First Baptist Church in Lafayette, IN with an acoustics problem in their fellowship hall. The multi-purpose space suffers from a long reverberation time resulting in low speech intelligibility. It also has problems with HVAC noise, as well as no permanent sound system design. • Analyzed competitor headphones through extended life testing to create failure data prediction plots that will be utilized to inform design choices in an upcoming headphone line.
• Collaborated with a group of Quality Engineers to test a wide range of audio products and supported investigations when these products did not meet specifications.
• Conducted a time study to understand how product testing deviates from test procedures and helped to marry the reality of testing to procedure to improve efficiency within the Quality department.
