For several years, I have been teaching biology at the high school level. I have taught students at multiple ability levels, but have distinguished myself as a teacher of higher level biology. I use an integrative, multidisciplinary approach in my classroom which emphasizes critical thinking, data analysis, and experimental design. I would like to transition from secondary education to a career in the life sciences. I am a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where I studied both biology and political science. I also hold a Master's Degree in secondary education from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. I have a strong and diverse skill set which includes but is not limited to spectrophotometry, microscopy, cell culturing, and data analysis.
