Assisted in the implementation of a new procurement software solution to centralize buying across all resorts. Hired into a new position, and had the opportunity to define SOPs and primary job responsibilities. Item Master for Procurement Software: Coupa Work with our procurement buying team and mountain directors to ensure all necessary items are in the system at the correct price. Update prices weekly for volatile items and work with distributors to preload upcoming specials. Created training for the field to help transition from the old Food and Beverage purchasing software ( Stratten Warren) to Coupa. Created testing requirements for new patch updates and work with IA to ensure we continue to be SOX compliant.  Administrator for T&E Expense Software: Concur Manage user account and support field users.

Responsible for managing the internet sales division and interacting with walk-in customers. Promoted to inside sales only after gaining a true understanding of the product by working in both the warehouse, the yard as well as voluntarily attending welding school. Competitively quoted prices, and finalized deals through email. Communicated effectively and persuasively to a high volume of people throughout the workday.

Tasked with developing a monitoring solution for Siemen’s natural gas turbine pipelines. Worked closely with a multidisciplinary group of 7 senior engineering students to design and build a laser-based particle monitoring system for natural gas lines. Main responsibilities included liaison with Siemens engineers, project management and providing deliverables which included several design reports and presentations. Initially tasked with the electronics and software development, but slowly shifted to project manager as less software implementation was used and more hands on work was required.
