The ADVANCE Program Director oversees National Science Foundation funded programs related to intersectional gender equity for faculty at CMU. The ADVANCE Program Director administers all aspects of the grant-funded program, including activities and initiatives associated with the grant, such as scheduling speakers, organizing workshops, or working with relevant departments to update policies and forms. This individual is responsible for analyzing and summarizing existing and anticipated program data. This position is also responsible for preparing reports for dissemination and ensuring reports are in line with grant and university guidelines.

- Oversight of Honors Program assessment plan, data collection/usage, and course planning- Advising Honors students on academic requirements including research support, coursescheduling, and career planning- Administration of Centralis Scholarship review process which annually awards 80 scholarships as well as admission to CMU's Honors Program

- Counsel prospective and current graduate and undergraduate students on available programs for individual goals- Assist on-campus and online students in acclimating to their learning styles and development in relation to college level learning using academic success strategies- Assist graduate and undergraduate students in developing an action plan for semester-by-semester potential schedules to increase student retention and graduation rates- Contribution to the advising, divisional assessment committee- Construction of a survey to assess student perceptions of academic advising- Advising of the first cohort of RN-to-BSN students as well as documentation of student barriers and policy advocation related to the new program

- Implementation of research-based interventions designed to increase student co-curricular engagement- Creation of and research on a division-wide "co-curricular curriculum" for first-year students.- Design and implementation of a comprehensive co-curricular pathway to guide students in developing skills from their experiences- Analysis and presentation of research findings to a variety of campus partners and stakeholders- Research on student, family member, and employer perceptions of on-campus engagement and employability-Role completed while in the PhD for Educational Leadership.

- Coordinated all aspects of the office’s marketing and publicity including oversight of three social media accounts, distribution of campus-wide communications, media outlet partnerships, intraoffice collaborations, new student orientation programs, and staffing at all university marketing events- Supervised four student staff members and four volunteer student facilitators- Managed the Events Program, which put on a variety of service and social justice education events for groups of 10-250 students- Directed data collection and annual report completion for nine office programs - Served as the primary administrator and technical assistant for all office technology including a nine portal OrgSync umbrella, a Sharepoint based website, and a weekly Maestro newsletter- Maintained communications with over 100 community non-profits in the Mid-Michigan area

-Coordinated the pep band at all athletic events, parades, trips and campus events-Implemented social programming for the 200+ members -Collaborated with the Director of Bands on strategic planning for the organization-Established and hosted the annual Huskies Pep Band Fashion Show

Summer employment working for the Office of Housing and Residential Life (summers 2014 and 2015). In this role I served as a counselor for summer athletic camps as well as assisted with special projects throughout the summer.
