I co-host the RU Experienced Podcast with Mike Ovens. We're an anti-status quo podcast dedicated to the property damage restoration industry. We highlight the systemic issues present in the industry but we also have a lot of fun!

I was an Inbound Marketer assisting small and medium-sized businesses with their digital marketing efforts. This was accomplished through SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and strategic marketing consulting.

Outside Sales & Marketing professional promoting Dreyer's DKI in North Florida. My job is to create business for Dreyer's DKI by developing and maintaining relationships with referral partners in order to drive company sales. I do this through a multi-prong effort of networking, prospecting, social media, community service initiatives, and education. This position requires me to be a Marketing-Sales hybrid in that I create better brand-awareness coupled with outside sales and face-to-face cold calling to create qualified leads that turn into quality referrals. I am a certified continuing education instructor for insurance professionals in the state of Florida. Besides outside sales and teaching, I develop a yearly marketing plan and plan various events which target specific verticals.Additionally, I collaborate with the CEO and other members of the leadership team to do long-term planning and help create an overall vision for where Dreyer's DKI will go over the next 5-10 years. Employee engagement and change are highly valued at Dreyer's DKI and so as a team we are always coming up with new ideas and ways we can streamline systems and processes, improve efficiency, create an excellent customer experience, and foster a healthy culture and work environment.

I worked in outside sales as a Business Account Executive in telecommunications providing high-speed broadband internet to businesses via a world-class, commercial grade fiber optic network in rural Southern Illinois. I would prospect for new potential clients through cold-calling and canvassing. I would take a prospect all the way through the sales cycle from introduction to close. Once I closed a sale, I would maintain a long-term relationship with that client, set expectations, and project manage their fiber service installation. I used Salesforce to manage my client relationships.

As a Non-commissioned Officer, I supervised my troops, ensured they met Air Force standards and training requirements, and performed my duties of protecting DoD personnel and property. I also served in Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) from 2009-2010 at Sather AFB, Baghdad Iraq.

I worked on a variety of projects, shadowed forecasters, and updated data and information. I analyzed spatial, atmospheric, and hydrological data for various projects. I also collaborated with the office's Science & Operations Officer (SOO) to improve their severe weather warning issuance.
