-Owned the design of new, updated and modified multi-tool components, architectures and products -Designed, developed and launched the Leatherman SIGNAL, a market-leading, outdoor multitool-Designed complex steel components for progressive stamping, fineblank stamping and metal injection molding manufacturing-Performed tolerance and structural analysis including finite element analysis (FEA)-Consulted daily with manufacturing and quality to support new component and process qualifications-Developed specifications and test procedures which defined and supported product and component performance expectations

-Designed complex, machined components and assemblies for optical/laser technologies with electronic housing and thermal dissipation considerations-Created and managed all 2D and 3D documentation for prototype builds and production handoff-Captured, defined and refined all customer product requirements starting from a clean slate

-Developed and managed K2 Snowboard Binding annual product line-Implemented new designs that improved the ergonomics, functionality and aesthetic appeal of K2 Binding line-Designed complex plastic and foam components for injection molding and thermoform manufacturing-Lead the management of Asian based development, mitigating risks and ensuring solid partnerships with overseas teams

-Managed product and material lab testing and qualification for multiple product categories-Designed, qualified and implemented new test procedures and equipment

-Managed new product introduction including assembly and graphic application-Managed design, fabrication and quality approval of plastic injection molds-Coordinated Asian based fabrication and production efforts
