As a wind tech, I perform preventative maintenances from purging bearings, greasing bearings, changing oil filters, cleaning slip rings, collector ring inspections and cleaning up the turbine.I troubleshoot faulted towers,electrical circuits up to 575 volts and interpret electrical schematics. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and interpret hydraulic schematics. Perform mid level and major level component repairs such as gearbox replacement, generator replacement, bearing replacement, gearbox oil changes and collector ring replacement. Working with crane companies to complete some of these task.

As a Maintenance Tech II, I remove, install, and fully rebuild a variety of pumps. I track multiple belt and chain conveyors, and replace, and resplice belts on conveyors. I work with hydraulic and pneumatic presses, hoses, lines, and motors / pumps. I replace a variety of sizes of gearboxes, mechanical seals, and bearings on equipment. I also work with crane companies to replace and repair large equipment. These are just some of my accomplishments: Performed predictive and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical problemss in timely manner, helping maintain plant for smooth operation. Completed daily work orders and routine monthly PM’s. Supervised contractors on site in completing work by scheduled deadline while acting as site safety resource for all contractors. Served on spare parts inventory team, helping reduce inventory levels and providing better visibility of materials on hand. Collected vibration data and analyzed spectrums, minimizing equipment failures
