Hi, I'm Zach!I'm currently job searching, so to prospective employers:If I had to choose a couple things for you to come away from this bio with, they would be:1) I am someone who has a lot of experience teaching myself new things in a variety of areas, and I love doing it! I may not tick all the boxes on your job description, but know that I can and will learn whatever you need me to!2) I love solving interesting problems, but above all I am a mission driven person. I want to solve problems that are going to make a real impact on the world.You've got no reason to believe me though, so I'll try to give some evidence!I've done three 6-month co-ops as I now enter my last semester of college. The first one was a full-stack webdev position. The second one was a DevOps position. The third one was a Data Science position. (In preparation for that last position, I taught myself as much about machine learning as I could over the summer, so I would have at least a basic knowledge for the interview.) I chose those positions deliberately, to get a wide breadth of experience, and I enjoyed all of them in their own ways.During college, I've worked on software for a robot for a Mars Rover competition, a toy project simulating the evolution of organisms based on cellular automata, and for the past ~9 months, have been leading the data team for Sunrise Movement Boston, a youth led climate justice group.I like learning stuff besides software too!
