Hi, my name is Zach, or “Mr. Zach” as the students call me. I have been working in the fields of Garden Education, Regenerative Agriculture, and Land Remediation for about 5 years. My mission is to teach communities how to grow nutrient-dense food, increase our positive ecological footprint, and get the dirt underneath our fingernails.I have been awarded an internationally recognized Permaculture Design Certificate from the Center for Creative Ecology in Kibbutz Lotan, Israel, and am currently training to become a Master Gardener through the Cornell Cooperative Extension, logging over 200 hours in Horticulture Education. During my time at the University of Pittsburgh. I extensively studied the crossroads between Environmental Stewardship, Ecological Design, and Entrepreneurship, graduating Magna Cum Laude in December of 2019.
