As a safety coordinator for IMI, my duties were varied. I would travel to various job sites daily to perform safety inspections of trucks, equipment, and work ares, inspect/replace PPE, and ensure customers and fellow employees fully understood the safety aspects of each job. As new employees were hired, I would be with them on their first day going through safety orientation. Throughout the day, I would cover a variety of topics including LOTO, fall protection, confined space, dust control, among other topics. I composed a powerpoint for Basic Rigging, and it was used to teach customers' employees how to use rigging properly, along with other materials and hands on training, This was a four hour course, and included a certificate of completion. I worked as part of an amazing team to ensure everyone went home with ten fingers and ten toes.
