My main interests are in the fields of urban horticulture and arboriculture, field botany, and agriculture. Accordingly, I feel strongly driven by my ideals of environmental justice, conservation and ethical food. I recently graduated from UMass Amherst, majoring in environmental science and sustainable food and farming. My hands-on experience includes serving as a plant production intern at the Arnold Arboretum, managing and working on organic farms, and much time observing wild plants and natural communities in New England.
