About Zach Shunnarah

I am pursuing my master's degree in data science and analytics at the College of Charleston after graduating with a B.S. in mathematics from Sewanee: The University of the South. After my graduation in December, I am looking to enter the workforce in hopes of securing a job as a data scientist/analyst. Currently, I am interning as a data analyst for UAB football.I have a passion for both data and sports, and my most recent opportunities have provided me the chance to see how both of these fields intersect. I have experience using relational databases and different programming languages to gather and analyze data. I have been involved with sports for 20 years, and through this I have learned many values such as initiative, work ethic, and attention to detail. These learned values, as well as my success on the field, in the classroom, and within the community, demonstrate that I would be a positive asset to any organization.
