All heavy lifting of data correlation and external id references handled under the hood. * Building a page builder that allows advertisers to quickly and on their own generate a site to showcase their business. Completely self serve, includes photo and video upload, removal and additions of sections, background saving, video processing algorithms, smart state dispatches etc.* For the exploro.com rebuild, taking in, adapting and formatting data to generate a highly dependable contract between the api and the frontend components. Resistant to change and class / inheritance based.* Helped lead and form the core development team at Exploro. This included guiding and providing feedback and mentorship to more junior / mid level engineers, but also required me to work on my business communication skills and setting proper expectations within the team and without.

Have you ever wanted to save hours of development time when working on your page builder? Ever had designs from your Figma designer and wished you could have it just magically appear in your Wordpress page builder? This app was just the solution. Unfortunately, the winds of business shifted and we never relaunched the project after it's first go. We were just wrapping up the next iteration which focused on working with blocks which is a huge thing in the Wordpress community.This role pushed me more than any other. Highlights include...* Mapping and processing each Figma node to generate a 1 to 1 tree understood by Xenon. Allowed users to select any element in the tree or combination of elements to create a snippet that could be pasted into their selected flavor of Wordpress.* Allowed full control of which pieces of a Figma design to pull in and generate output for. This meant that someone could select only a few elements of a grander design and the system would seamlessly place them together in the appropriate places.* Started work with OpenAi near the end of development to integrate the ability to take a prompt and generate output blocks instead of pulling directly from Figma. Sadly, work was halted before we were able to complete this feature but I was able to get a good understanding of how to train your data models, what points on the graph it needs and how to work with OpenAi's language model.

I assist students in coding projects, learning to debug and other skills essential to a web developer. In this position, I get the opportunity to not only teach web development concepts to a large group of students but I also am able to work with students one on one to ensure the greatest chance of success.

As a web development mentor, I assist students in debugging, how to think through problems logically and occasionally teach new concepts that we're going through as a class.

I work with PHP, JavaScript, SQL, HTML and CSS. The nature of my work has lead me to drastically increase my skills with backend development and fill gaps in knowledge I'd had previously. I work a lot with APIs, databases and front end user interfaces. Due to working with large datasets, I became much more skilled in thinking through business concerns that wouldn't arise with smaller database sizes.

I'm lucky to have a knack for dealing with people, and this proved invaluable in my dealings with employees from many different backgrounds. My responsibilities included supervising the loading of outgoing trucks, as well as the unloading of incoming trucks. I was responsible for tracking many different numbers in each area that I ran as well as managing the labor force of that area.
