Direct multiple newscasts for two stations, WBOC-TV and WRDE, as well as creating codes as needed for both Grass Valley Ignite and Sony ELC, coordinate live, emergency, and breaking news coverage with both stations, adapt to changes within newscasts, coordinate with producers, anchors and editors to ensure newscasts look clean on air, flip the set: which includes replacing anchors microphone and IFB batteries, moving cameras, changing the lighting based upon show, replacing dead light bulbs when necessary, and spinning the main set to the correct position based on time of day. When not directing I double as a master control operator where I monitor seven different stations, prep shows for advertisements, ensure our scheduled log is on time, troubleshoot any issues occurring over the air, manually roll commercial breaks for live events, and ensure proper FCC regulations are being followed. I also help train any new employees while going through my day today activities
