Hired into an existing team of 7 developers to lead a new project from the ground up, introducing Python, Angular and Postgres into a previously Java/Oracle centric organization. Trained junior developers as well as experienced developers on the new technology stack. Coordinated with business stakeholders to determine timelines and project scope. The new application went online under a tight deadline of 3 months, growing over time from one Pharma client to hundreds.Continually worked to improve testing and CI/CD practices. Implemented a build pipeline via BitBucket that included code linting, complexity analysis/grading, and automated tests.

Brought on to assist with the integration of Machine Learning into the main Ultralinq application. Ultralinq partnered with various vendors of low level libraries written in languages such as C. Main initial responsibility was to bridge the gap between these libraries and the rest of the application.Role later transitioned to that of software team lead. The team was composed of 5 back-end developers. In that role I worked closely with Support to manage the triaging, diagnosis, and resolution of critical customer issues. I also worked with other departments such as the Front-End team to coordinate future work.

Worked as part of a back-end team of 6 developers to build a pharmaceutical compliance web application. The app consumed millions of lines of pharma sales data into Cassandra and SOLR in order to generate pricing data that pharma companies are required to report to the government. The app was built with a microservices architecture, using Docker, as well as Zookeeper for service discovery.

Worked with a small team on implementing a question grading engine using NodeJS. Built frontend components of the application with AngularJS.
