I enrolled in Appalachian State University to pursue a degree in Business Management. I have been in multiple cadet leadership roles in the Army ROTC program where I developed leadership skills in planning, public speaking, logistics, and teamwork. The academic course load that I chose focused on finance, accounting, statistical analysis, and management. My natural curiosity led me to explore a variety of areas in addition to academics and ROTC like woodworking, electronic wiring, and small engines. I enjoy problem solving, working in high-functioning teams, and taking on complex issues. I often take things apart, to see how they work, because I love to learn. Whether it is how something is made, learning about a new friend, I am invested in every aspect of my life. I am eager to be a part of a team that works hard together and that creates lasting relationships. I am commissioning into the Army National Guard as a second lieutenant and am looking for a company that would support me in my military career. I look forward to using my business management degree to add value to a solid organization. I am a quick learner and lean into hard work.
