    One of my favorite methods I use to help companies grow is by creating profitable cold traffic campaigns, usually through Facebook. Here are the three most common mistakes I see most technology companies make when it comes to cold traffic:1. Poor retargeting. Retargeting is not meant to remind someone they forgot to signup for your free trial or make a purchase. It is meant to systamically combat your prospects doubts and objections from taking the next step. This is so crucial if you have a strong organic strategy because it will drastically effect the amount of leads & customers you aquire from all your marketing efforts.2. Boring Ads. You have heard the stats.. people get hit with thousands of extenral stimuli from ads, social media posts, emails, blog posts.. you name it. You have to write ads that stand out and one of the best ways I've discovered to do that is by using story driven advertisements. These are longer form ads that pre-qualify your potential customers with a relatable story that will achieve record high engagement AND pre-qualified customers before they have even landed on your page.3. Poor Landing Pages. If you're landing page to opt-in (not purchase) is converting less than 25%...you have a big problem. You are either sending the wrong people to that page or, your copy needs some work. A quick trick to use when looking at your copy is to put yourself in your ideal customers shoes. Once you're thinking like them, look at each element on your page and ask "So what?" If you don't get a great answer for this... change that piece up.Apart from advertising itself to aquire leads on the front end of your funnel.. you must be able to convert them on the back end as well.The most important point I can stress is that your goal of your marketing funnel is NOT to sell... but to build a strong relationship with your prospects so they buy from you.We as humans work with people we like and trust. We hate being sold, but love to buy.
