“Let’s roll for initiative.”I can’t tell you how many times I've uttered that phrase. And I feel that even here it has it’s applications. Looking for a job or finding a career that you’re passionate about takes time, preparation, and, in the end, some initiative to move towards the goals you have in life.I’m the type of person who loves analyzing and solving problems, and then using the knowledge I gained to aid others, especially those who are experiencing those same problems. I have unique methods of accomplishing my goals, and in doing so I'm able to summarize that process and break it down into coherent and manageable chunks that are easy to understand. I'm confident in my own ability to learn something new, analyze and understand how it works, and then simplify it to make it more accessible to everyone. This skill has developed largely from my 10-years of experience in various customer service-related fields, but also from many years of cooperative social functions and a love for cooperative gaming. Through this, along with my work experience, I've developed a strong sense for the organization required in these different areas.I have been playing video games regularly for about 25 years now, ever since I received my first ever Gameboy Pocket with Pokemon Red Version. I fell in love, and gaming has been my passion ever since. I consider myself a hardcore gamer in the sense that I enjoy putting myself and my abilities up to difficult and challenging stages, such as obtaining the Platinum Trophy on various games I enjoy, such as Bloodborne and Dead Space 2. I have a keen eye for noticing small details in the games I play, and I am very good at figuring out complex game mechanics and developing a method to overcome them. I am also very familiar with game glitches and how they are used within the speed-running community. In my free time I enjoy organizing social functions of creativity and conflict resolution exercises. Through these exercises, myself and peers learn to quickly assess the proper tools to resolve a situation. I also co-lead a growing online community on Final Fantasy XIV with over 100 current members, where I lead a raid-group for twice-weekly raid nights.
