What is your lightbulb?From a young age, I was captivated by the thrill of sports. Like many, I dreamed of a life on the field. But as my playing days dwindled, I realized my passion for the game was far from over. The allure of coaching, the opportunity to shape young minds and bodies, was too strong to resist.I became a sponge, absorbing every detail of the game, from intricate strategies to fundamental techniques. While I once sought personal glory, I now found greater satisfaction in witnessing the growth of my players. The spark in their eyes when a concept clicked, the exhilaration of mastering a new skill – these were the true victories.I'll never forget the moment a young lineman, armed with proper technique, delivered a powerful block. Or the sight of fourth graders executing a flawless screen pass for a 90 yard touchdown. And who could forget the unlikely hero, the lineman turned quarterback, leading the team to a record-breaking performance?These moments, these triumphs, are far more rewarding than any personal achievement. They fuel my passion for coaching and inspire me to continue making a difference in the lives of young athletes.and the above are all true…That lightbulb has led me where I am today. Still teaching, still coaching but this time on a production floor. The lightbulbs are still there… the perfect 5S score, training someone and they get a troublesome set up by themselves, the look on their face when they see their metrics going up on a weekly basis.I have over 20 years of experience working in Manufacturing. Currently, I work as a Continuous Improvement Quality Supervisor.
