I was responsible for undertaking a lot of different duties during my role here. These included the following: * Helping with a smooth transition of a contract from one Security company to another. This was done by initially working a lot of hours, until we had that full compliment of Security Officers in place. * I conducted a personal overview of what and how we could improve the services in which we provided. This was accomplished by speaking with both staff and client as well as using other KPI's to track and monitor efficiency and ensure we offered value for money.* I constructed the operational rota system. * I assisted with training and developing a number of new and unfamiliar members of staff. This ensured that all site criteria and protocols were followed correctly adhering to company policies, laws and legislation. * I introduced and put into practice, key duties to our site which benefited the client and ourselves as their contractor. A brief example of this was to change the on site signing-in procedure for the clients staff. This then enabled us to ensure we are always present to make sure staff can enter and leave the premises safely during silent hours. * I ensured we always had someone to cover the site if any of the guards are off or need a shift/time off for whatever reason. I was proud to be part of the 'G4S regional champion' scheme and completed projects on Corporate Social Responsibility and was also awarded with the status of 'Regional Champion'. Show less
