Zachary Blake is a marine surveyor with a passion for the ocean and all things nautical. His background as a yacht captain and engineer has given him a firm foundation in the technical aspects of marine surveying, while his experience as an electrical contractor has provided him with valuable skills in maintenance and repair. Zachary is a Certified ACMS Surveyor and ABYC member with extensive experience in evaluating all onboard systems for effectiveness and efficiency. He is also trained in CPR/AED/Lifeguard, has a PB Level 2/RIB Master, Padi Open Water, and PDSD certificates. Zachary has experience in maintaining all machinery onboard, overseeing extensive yard periods, and boat handling and docking. He is a skilled communicator who can provide detailed information in a concise manner, both in technically written reports and in discussions with clients. Zachary is also adept at logistics management, ensuring that all parties involved in a survey are well-informed and prepared. In addition to his marine experience, Zachary has worked as an electrician/general contractor apprentice and executive assistant to a CEO/president. He is skilled in meeting deadlines, maintaining a high level of finish-work and cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. Zachary is proficient in the advanced Microsoft Suite, mechanically inclined, and has experience in white-water rafting, rock climbing, and as a captain of the water polo team. Zachary is currently based in Huntington Beach, California and Leads the Elite Marine Surveyors West Coast Branch.
