Working as a Sr. HR Generalist in the Stamping division complexed between Warren and Sterling Stamping plants. I provided support for both hourly employees and salary staff in HR functions with items such as year end goals, employee development, onboarding, investigations, coaching and teaching members of management, mentoring and teaching other team members, implementing/upholding processes in the employment office and giving guidance to the employment reps as needed.

2nd Shift Labor Rep.While working in Labor Relations in a Assembly Plant manufacturing setting I have gained valuable knowledge in the automotive industry. I work first hand with the management and the Union to accomplish daily goals. I am responsible for the issuance of discipline from standard of conduct violations to attendance disciplines, grievance meetings with UAW, coaching and communication with the floor, completing investigations for items such as workplace violence, sexual harassment, discrimination, and other items, coaching management on contract interpretation, and assisted in gathering information for local contract negotiations.

While working in Labor Relations in a powertrain manufacturing setting I have gained valuable knowledge in the automotive industry. I work first hand with the Union and organize grievance meetings. I have completed investigations, served attendance and discipline, as well as organize time keeping for hourly employees along with other tasks that go along with the labor relations role.

While working as a HR generalist in a powertrain manufacturing setting (engine plant) I have gained valuable knowledge in the automotive industry. I have hired and on boarding skilled trades, suplemental employees, and transfers from other facilities. In addition to my normal day-to-day cadence, I also help employees with payroll issues, unemployment, medical leaves, timekeeping, and other questions they may have. I also have conducted labor investigations, answered grievances, build employee schedules, manpower moves, and temporary layoffs if applicable. My current roll is a blend between employment and labor as I continue to learn and grow in the HR Generalist position.

In my roll as a returning intern for FCA, I was placed in a different labor market during the launch of the new Jeep Truck (Gladiator) at the Toledo Assembly Complex in Toledo, Ohio. My talents were utilized in the People Development roll, helping launch PD initiatives to the employees plant wide.

Working in the clothing department gives me a face to face interaction with customers on a daily basis. I also am able to assist the customer to help them find what they need. By working with my co-workers as a team, we are able to run efficiently and add value to our customers experience.

During my time with FCA I was placed in a HR manufacturing environment, and was quickly able to adapt to any situation that arose. I was placed on a rotation through People Development, Labor Relations, and Employment, getting to learn the ins and outs of the daily tasks of an HR member. Being able to assist with daily operations, I quickly learned essential skills needed to thrive in the manufacturing HR environment.

While working at Mannik Smith Group, I completed tasks that were given to me daily as well as work on large projects for the company. Learning new aspects of the daily business life and how to interact in a professional word, I quickly adapted to the business workplace. I worked with Microsoft Excel and Word regularity to provide information for clients to show data. While working here, I had the opportunity to work with many different departments, giving me insight how different departments can work individually, but strive for the same goal.
