Operating Room duties:-Assisted the CRNAs, Anesthesiologists, and Physicians with prepping the patient before surgery (ex. helped with arterial line placements, intubating, applying chloroprep etc.)-Helped with proper positioning of patient for surgery-Set up anesthesia machine before each surgery -Transports patients to pre-op -Stocked each room and machine before surgery -Ensures sterility of the operating room while maintaining a safe environment for both employees and patients-Retrieved drug trays for patients-Ran blood, tissue, and culture samples to the lab-Placed on Emergency Team B for natural disasters Emergency Department duties (floating to ED):-Assisted Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and nurses-Take EKGs and vitals of patients-Set and monitor O2 levels for patients -Give Covid Swabs and perform Covid tests-Worked in Triage and Covid Tent (used for patient overflow)-Greeted and determined severity of patients who first arrived to Emergency Department-Helped with setting up IVs and blood sampling-Transported Covid patients-Transported patients from triage to emergency bedsICU duties:-Prone team (placing Covid patients in both prone and supine positions)-Patient cleanliness-Repositioning Arterial lines and catheters
