In my current role, I work extensively with Macy’s services system, namely in 3rd party order to allow 3rd party clients the ability to integrate their checkout flow with Macy’s. I design internal monitoring platforms allowing for detailed tracking of 3rd party orders, which in turn increases the usability of Macy's.com. I help design Macy’s Facebook integrated customer service chat bot for automated order tracking, FAQs, and store information services. I currently am modifying and testing Macy's services platform to accommodate customer promotions for both guests and registered on-line customers. To do this, I work with Java application services to interface with the database back end.

San Francisco Bay Area

In my internship I worked on two separate projects: one with the other summer interns and one with an internal team at Macy's.com. For the intern project, I aided in the strategic planning, and development of a system that would increase customer satisfaction and efficiency for the company. I also participated in the presentation of the final results to corporate and senior leaders. For the internal team project, I worked closely with other software engineers in a diverse team of experienced individuals. I worked extensively with Macy’s services systems, on API design for both internal and external use for image hosting. I heightened my skills in time management, planning, organization, and communication. I ended my internship in July of 2015 and was offered a full time position which I accepted for post graduation.

Merced, California Area

During my undergraduate, I was selected to be a teaching assistant for the course Introduction to Computer Applications at UC Merced. At the time, I was the only undergraduate to be chosen for a Teaching Assistant position in the Engineering department. I tutored fellow undergraduates in the course and aided in explanations of the material. I was responsible for weekly section meeting, where I gave short lectures about the material, and weekly office hours.
