Position OverviewThe role involves preparing and conducting advanced research and experiments related to fuels, focusing on combustion, emissions, and Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) analysis. The position requires expertise in both experimental and computational techniques, including the use of high-speed data acquisition technologies and advanced instrumentation.Experimentation:-Prepare and run engine experiments related to fuels, focusing on combustion, emissions, and Acoustics/Vibrations Analysis.-Manage and operate various instrumentation and equipment necessary for experiments, including calibration and data acquisition systems.-Conduct advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for research in combustion, emissions, and Acoustics/Vibrations of fired engines.Focus Areas:-Propulsion and Low-Temperature Combustion-High-Speed Data Acquisition Technologies-Combustion Data Analysis-FTIR Emissions Analyzer-Aerospace Propulsion Systems Emissions Analysis-Acoustics and Vibrations Engineering

As an ASME Undergraduate Student Researcher at Georgia Southern University's Renewable Energy, IC Engines, and Aerospace Combustion Laboratory, I use effective communication, prepare experiments, and create developments in aerospace alternative fuels. This work is done while using instrumentation, calibration, and data acquisition systems.

During my time at the NSF REU: Propulsion, Aerodynamics, and Controls of Aerial Vehicles internship program many different encounters between Georgia Southern, HBCUs, minority-serving institutions, and community colleges; promoted exciting undergraduate research that advanced the fundamental body of knowledge in Propulsion, Aerodynamics, Materials and Controls of Aerial Vehicles and respond to 21st Century Challenges while the research results will be disseminated in peer-reviewed journals.
