Small town Ohio native, that developed a work ethic and humility to match my childhood community. All the while, developing a competitive nature and leadership skills from athletics and extra-curricular activities. I developed a passion for process improvement, financial/data analytics, and fast-paced environments while attending BGSU. Throughout the Master of Accountancy program I discovered a deeper interest in audit, data analytics, and risk management. I leverage my Master of Accountancy degree and my experience working in multiple industries, to deliver quality results and insights to internal and external stakeholders. I also collaborate with cross-functional teams and external auditors to develop and implement effective controls and policies to mitigate risks and enhance performance.Post-graduation I've worked in various industries which include, manufacturing, construction, financial institutions, various service industries, oil and refining, and electric utilities. Striving for more of an industry specific environment I have honed skills in the corporate internal audit department of Sarbanes-Oxley, risk based, ad-hoc testing and review for audit completion. I am committed to a constant improvement approach in all facets of my career and personal life.
