She was in the process of "flipping" her Kinesiology 461 classroom in which class activities, labs, and other supplemental material will be taught in class, while lecture material will be accessed outside of the classroom via the internet. I and another colleague worked to help create the activities, labs, and supplemental material to be taught within the classroom. In the Fall semester of 2014, one section of the 461 class will be taught in the traditional classroom setting and the other section will be taught using the "flipped" style that we developed. The two grades from each sections will be compared to determine the effectiveness of the "flipped" classroom environment. -
