Zachary is a policy and strategy aide at the Concordia Group with a strong background in political science, legislative studies, and advocacy. In his role, he excels in developing and implementing robust policy strategies and initiatives, conducting meticulous research and analysis on complex policy issues, and delivering comprehensive briefing materials to clients and internal stakeholders. Additionally, Zachary actively engages with multiple clients, leveraging his expertise to devise and execute impactful communication strategies encompassing media relations, social media management, and digital communications. He currently specializes with one of Concordia’s larger clients, The American Carbon Alliance. There, he serves as a legislative assistant and engages with communications and web development. This role has also allowed him to utilize his grassroots and advocacy experience by engaging communities on the issue of carbon capture and its benefits to rural America.Zachary has an extensive background in politics, having worked in the Iowa House of Representatives as a Legislative Clerk. There, he served as a liaison to lobbyists, legislators, and constituents, coordinating communications and events. Additionally, as a Fellow for the American Federation for Children, he advocates for school choice programs and raises awareness about education inequities. In the last election, Zachary worked as a Senior Field Representative for the Kim Reynolds Gubernatorial Campaign, where he led intern teams, engaged with the community, and contributed to the campaign's 20-point victory.
