Zachary serves at the intersection of leadership development, intercultural awareness, and strategic planning. As program director, he has an integral role in client projects and internal operations by designing and facilitating services and strategic initiatives. Duties include:• Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization• Plan the programs from start to completion aligned with deadlines, milestones, and processes• Contribute to the development of budgets and operations• Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements• Supervise all program and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems• Discover ways to enhance the efficiency and productivity of procedures and people• Apply change, risk, and resource management principles when needed• Read reports prepared by the team to determine progress and issues• Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies• Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations

As an elected official in the Cheltenham Township, Zachary is one of 9 school directors charged with overseeing the management of the school district, approving an annual budget, and setting policies that determine how schools can serve as a welcoming space for all students and staff. Zachary serves as the Co-Chair of the Policy Committee, represents CSD on the Montgomery County Legislative Committee, and is a member of the Finance, Facilities, Educational Affairs, and Liasion Committees.--Cheltenham School District serves a population of nearly 37,000 residents in its nine square miles. Like the township, the school district is highly diverse with an ethnic student body population consisting of 55% African American, 29% Caucasian, 7% multiracial, 6% Asian, 3% Hispanic, and less than 1% American Indian/Alaska Native or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander.The District operates four K-4 elementary schools, one 5-6 elementary school, one 7-8 middle school, and one high school, serving approximately 4,525 students. The District is fully inclusive and offers a broad range of Special Education services.

Throughout the nation, there is untapped potential in young people to be critical decision-makers in creating a just and equitable society. The Aspen Challenge is a platform, tools, and resources for high school-aged youth to design solutions to the most complex political, social and economic issues of our time. As Program Manager, Zachary travels the country to coach students and teachers through the design thinking process that is proved to foster leadership growth in areas such as empathy, collaboration, and resilience. In addition, he manages content design, delivers learning tools, and oversees evaluation and fiduciary responsibilities of the program and the participating high schools.

Zachary was charged with helping to develop and implement strategic advocacy, government relations, and community engagement programs to support the District’s critical priorities. As a member of the Superintendent's Executive Team, he executed strategy elements including building one-on-one relationships with community, business, and civic leaders to call upon them for collaborative ventures; leveraging long-term and new relationships with elected officials to establish School District champions; and supporting the creation and expansion of partnerships with local non-profit and for-profit businesses and institutions to generate support for the School District.

Formerly Results Leadership Group, LLCWorking directly with public and private organizations at varying levels, Zachary engaged in coalition building and leadership development for effective use of Results-Based Accountability, aa disciplined, data-driven framework to improve the lives of children, youth and families.He also led the implementation of Results Scorecard as a common measurement tool fornational and local collaborative efforts including U.S. Department of Education'sPromise Neighborhoods and the National Campaign for Grade-Level Reading

In this role, Zachary provided oversight and guidance to high-priority projects and day-to-day operations with the district office, including facilitating connections among children and families throughout the district with state/local housing, financial and health resources. Zachary also monitored partnerships with 16 schools within the district and built collaboration amongconstituent groups.
