I was responsible for all GIS and drone (UAV) operations. This includes collecting data in the field through conventional surveying, 3D/LIDAR scanning, and drone flights. I then process the data and deliver it to our clients based on their specific needs. At Landtech, our GIS services focus on integrating BIM (building information model), and applications in the field for better asset/facility management.

SAMCO Leak Detection and Mapping Services is a company dedicated to helping water distribution systems reduce water loss and to run as efficiently as possible. As the GIS Manager and Survey Chief at SAMCO I was responsible for all project operations. Founding the GIS division, I was responsible to meet with clients and identify areas where they would benefit from implementing a new GIS system. My team and I would then see the project all the way through, beginning in the early stages of project planning, collecting asset locations in the field, to implementing an easy to use GIS system with new workflows. Through SAMCO's leak detection services, I was responsible for pinpointing leak locations and evaluating overall efficiency and health of the water distribution system.
