I am a graduate of the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry. I also went to school at Tulsa Technology Center during high school. I conducted research at the University of Tulsa under Dr. Dale Teeters building and experimenting with prototype, nano-scale, lithium, solid polymer electrolyte batteries. I was invited to present this data in the Spring of 2020 to the American Chemical Society presentation in Philadelphia.I conducted research under Shriram Santhanagopalan at the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL) in Golden, CO. I conducted research as an intern through the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Intern (SULI) program, as a part of the Department of Energy. The research focused on the generation of lithium polysulfides in sulfur cathodes. I presented my research to colleagues and professors at an intern presentation symposium held by NREL.I interned at Ten-Nine Technologies in Tulsa, OK, designing benchtop fixtures using SolidWorks, and I conducted tests on powder cathode materials and blending. I am currently a Research Technician at Chevron Phillips Chemical. I assist in the data organization, data analysis, and technical processes involved in catalytic research for the development of polymers. I also use analytical equipment for the characterization of catalysts.I am a member and officer of the Alpha Sigma Chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi at the University of Tulsa. I have held the positions of Secretary, New Member Educator, and President. I am also a member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honors Society at the University of Tulsa. I also am a member and leader in the on-campus organization Student Mobilization(StuMo). I am currently looking to find a job in chemistry that involves research and/or lab work.
