Marine Attack Squadron 311Managed 11 maintenance divisions comprising over 220 Marines ensuring proper deployment staffing, qualifications, and licensing in support of a Special Marine Air & Ground Task Force. Supervised the Maintenance Department’s adherence to the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program guidelines during all maintenance actions, operations and qualifications.Coordinated the reduction of the Marine Air Group’s AV-8B Harrier manpower by 30% as the Group transitioned to the F-35 type model series (TMS) aircraft. Developed manpower staffing plans for Marine Air Group 13 AV-8B closeout and consolidation of two fighter/attack squadrons of Harriers to F-35’s to include divestment planning and consolidation of aircraft for a deploying Marine Expeditionary Unit.Supervised the squadron’s Air Force Joint Inspection Program and logistics pack-up resulting in a seamless shut down in support of Isa Air Base, Bahrain Marine Operations and redeployment of all squadron assets.

Marine Test & Evaluation Squadron (VMX-1)Assigned, prioritized, coordinated and controlled all maintenance actions and Safety of Flight issues for 10 work centers and external agencies in order to provide mission capable aircraft to meet demanding operational requirements.Planned for scheduled maintenance, best allocation of manpower and assets in support of five (5) operational test & evaluations (OT&E) on three (3) separate TMS aircraft over 3 1/2-month period. Supervised planning and proper maintenance management resulting in 253 flying missions and 296 mishap free flight hours in 3-month period on the AH-1W, AH-1Z, UH-1Y, RQ-21 and MV-22 TMS aircraft.Provided expertise on aircraft maintenance to the Aircraft Maintenance Officer as a Government Ground Flight Representative in order to improve contract maintenance.

Marine Aviation Training Support Group 23Managed the Naval Air Training Command’s Aircraft Maintenance “A” School pipeline for both Navy and Marine Corps new hire students. Conducted on-going liaison with multiple Navy and Headquarters Marine Corps recruiting and training sections, maintenance organizations and reserve affairs for issues involving Marine Students attending the primary Aircraft Maintenance “A” School. Managed the screening process for all Marines assigned aviation training to ensure contract disparities were legally resolved in accordance with the needs of the Marine Corps.

Quality Assurance Chief (2015-2016)Conducted Computerized Self-Evaluation Checklist (CSEC) on Naval Aviation Maintenance Programs as well as three semi-annual work center audits on Ordnance, Maintenance Control, and Tool Room identifying multiple discrepancies leading to correction and enhanced mission accomplishment. Proved technical training to 65+ Collateral Duty Inspectors and Quality Assurance Representatives in order to improve maintenance quality and understanding.Maintenance Control Representative (2013-2015)Designated to certify aircraft Safe for Flight consistently releasing over 280 aircraft Safe for Flight through screening of records, ensuring completion of inspections, and compliance of equipment configurations.Served as Maintenance Control Chief for the Weapons Training Instructor course directing and overseeing the efforts, maintenance actions, periodical and unscheduled maintenance, and priorities for 25 aircraft, 5 production work centers with 186 Marines on 25 UH-1Y/AH-1W/AH-1Z aircraft accounting for 1,061 flight hours and over 650 flying missions directly resulting in 21students graduating.
