A company's most valuable asset is its employees. I am the Director of Personnel and Safety at King Asphalt Inc. in Liberty, SC. In my sixteen years with King, I have served in many areas including accounts payable, purchasing manager, project manager, and I actually started out as a paving general laborer. These experiences gave me an understanding of what it means to work for a company that enjoys honorable, physical work with the opportunity to grow my job into a career. My focus on building people and community stems from three things: good coffee, good conversation, and the good book. My faith and family drive me to consistently strive to be a leader at home and in the workplace. I possess the ego to survive the rough days and the humility to know when I am not the smartest person in the room. I earned my B.S. in Accounting from North Greenville University. When I am not designing new company hats and apparel, I enjoy chasing my three year old son, catching views from any mountain top, and casting a fly line in the Chauga River.
