The single most important reason that I have committed myself to the fire alarm industry was the statement made by my former employer. He told me very clearly that “what our company does is save the lives of the people inside the buildings we monitor; people can die if our equipment doesn’t work.” I took it to heart and took on the positive process of removing all the trouble signals that came in from our monitor servers. It was also my privilege to be the employee that did all the final inspections with the fire marshal. It was the pride of our company to be known as the alarm company that never failed or final inspections.
