During my flight training I discovered an interest in exploring aerospace horizontally rather than vertically. My enjoyment focused on relationships and exploring the variety of things to do with the wing. This desire brought me out of Flight Instruction at an airline focused university in Florida to corporate flying in Kansas and learning wrenches. Then onward to the inland northwest to see the mountains, build maintenace training coursework with an OEM, and fly my favorite turboprop. Flying has been a constant, but not a focus. Aviation is about relationships and though my track is non standard It is right where I want to be. I am a Commercial pilot with multi, single, sea, and glider ratings. I am a Gold seal CFI-A/I/M. I've been sluggishly pursuing the elusive CFI-G but haven't dedicated enough time to it yet. I've met some incredible flyers in the soaring community along the way. I also hold an A&P, in pursuit of an IA. An aircraft dispatchers certificate, Ground instructor, and sUAS.
