Implemented techniques based on graph theory to more easily express and better understand the oxidation of isoprene in the atmosphere. Used Ptython, Matlab, and Fortran to solve hundreds of simultaneous PDE's. Successfully created a model to predict chemicals formed by the oxidation of isoprene in the atmosphere as well as other constituent chemicals

Used mixed-integer-linear-programming to prune the known metabolic pathways of Acidithiobacillus Ferrooxidans. Used flux analysis to predict production of chemicals such as isobutanol by Ferrooxidans under different conditions. Successfully discovered alternative chemical metabolic pathways in Ferrooxidans. Collaborated with other lab members and gave weekly presentations and one final presentation

Used applied math techniques such as SVD, FFT, and machine learning to study the global yearly trend in hurricane landfalls. Wrote and streamlined the code to implement calculations on large matrix-based data. Used applied math techniques to relate hurricane wind-speed, global position (ocean basins), and ocean-surface temperatures
