Worked as a track and field official for RefTown, a company which supplies referees for Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) track meets. Positions I worked included starter, javelin official, shot put official, and meet manager. Each CYO track season consisted of four 6-hour-long meets as well as a culminating 2-day Meet of Champions.- Improved communication skills by directing officials, parent volunteers, and athletes to required positions- Counseled and answered questions from newer officials before and during meet, which helped keep meets on schedule- Adapted to varying materials available on-site in order to put on the best meet; improved ability to adapt- Oversaw flow of the meet to ensure the it ran on time; improved leadership and time-management skills- Worked as field event director during Meet of Champions as a result of experience

Officiated youth football games every Saturday for 2-5 hours throughout the entire youth season. The games ranged from 3rd grade up to 8th grade.
