Piloting new position providing personalized IT support for the department of Laboratory Medicine from desktop support to report generation to application development.- Created a dashboard for Microbiology Lab displaying all IT tickets submitted by laboratory staff. Ran screening activities for clinical trials for T-Cell therapies for lung cancer, and helped train new staff.- Defined processes for evaluating between 200 and 300 lung cancer patients each week for eligibility for experimental immunotherapy trials. - Developed and maintained tools in Excel and VBA for quickly organizing and presenting results to physicians detailing which of their patients were eligible for trials.- Trained new employees on running low-risk clinical trials, increasing enrollment for studies from zero to 25-50 patients per day.

Ran research studies on patients undergoing surgical treatment for GI cancers, handling protocol edits, screening, consenting, data entry, and data cleanup.- Created novel screening tool using Excel and VBA, cutting the time needed to find eligible patients from ~6 hours to ~2 hours and improving the timeliness of updating existing records. This tool further allowed the team to double the number of clinics searched for eligible patients.- Provide content updates and new features for team’s SharePoint site.- Spearheaded digitization of critical reference and training documentation, allowing the seamless transition to remote work during the COVID-19 lockdown.
