Worked as an associate in the international arbitration group in Frankfurt, Germany, on the following matters:-Represented a major European industrial group in several related arbitrations against suppliers in multiple jurisdictions. The disputes involve complex technical issues of material science and failure analysis, and the question of whether the properties of the material supplied render it unsuitable for its intended use.-Represented a Japanese manufacturer in a DIS arbitration arising out of a commitment to divest agreed with the European Commission. The arbitration involves multiple contractual claims and counterclaims intertwined with European antitrust issues.-Represented a financial investor in an LCIA arbitration arising out of several non-performing loans relating to a distressed energy group in eastern Europe.

Worked for Judge Siniša Rodin on the Court of Justice of the European Union and performed the following tasks: -Prepared and delivered presentations to Judge Siniša Rodin on legal arguments and issues raised in cases pending before the Court and conducted all associated legal research. -Drafted a preliminary report in French that was circulated to all judges and their clerks on a case for which Judge Rodin was the reporting judge.
