In addition to ongoing responsibilities as a Sustainability Manager (please see below), I work closely with my client's ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) leadership in setting and monitoring energy performance goals. After setting targets for internal stakeholders, I assist each asset in meeting and maintaining these particular performance thresholds.The increased emphasis on target setting has also allowed for me to find, develop and refine training resources for my client.

As part of the CBRE Asset Services group, I manage sustainable initiatives and reporting for my client. Ultimately, I serve as the conduit between the ownership and the managers operating each asset. In addition to creating quarterly reports on sustainable activities, I monitor local and state energy benchmarking and disclosure laws and ensure that all of my client's assets are in compliance.Third party commercial building certifications such as ENERGY STAR Label and LEED also fall under my supervision as I ensure that all stakeholders meet the necessary deadlines and that the project team seizes any and all opportunity for savings.Along with my client, I have created a propriety survey and building inspection that targets buildings with high energy consumption. The goal of this initiative is to put an operational plan in place at these targeted properties so that all viable low-cost and no-cost opportunities are vetted before large capital expenditures are considered.
