Acted as a student face of UC San Diego HDH to the campus community, giving presentations, organizing student/faculty events, and delivering information to our students. Helped managed UC San Diego Dining social media platforms, created digital signage and media, and appeared in campus social media campaigns. Collected and analyzed student feedback through Qualtrics surveys and reports. Selected over +1000 student employees as the 2019 HDH Principle Exemplary Student of the Year.

Worked as an assistant to the Retail Merchandiser for HDH. Tasks include setting sale prices, updating product order guides, creating monthly specials and promotions, and customer outreach through events and polls. Helped with sales analysis using monthly and yearly sales reports to streamline product mixes for the 6 different market locations at UCSD. Gave me valuable experience working with various vendors and directors, to secure promotional sales and implement larger dining concepts. After working for HDH in a hands on fashion at OceanView, the next step for me was to go behind the scenes and see the business aspect of a dining experience catering to almost 30,000 diverse students, including myself.

As a student lead at OceanView under HDH, I was in charge of running the floor, training new hires, labor allocation, communication between student employees and upper management, stocking, production, and maintaining schedule of out-going products. This was a leadership position in charge of all student employees during my shifts. After working for only 10 weeks as a general student employee, I was recommended for this position, during which training began in April 2017.

Vice President, in charge of the Internal Committee, for the Undergraduate Economic Society. UES is the official student organization of the UCSD Economics Department, being endorsed and mentored by the Vice Chair of the department. Being in charge of the Internal Committee, my responsibilities revolved around inter-UES cohesion, event planning, recruiting, retail ordering, and acting as a resource for other Undergraduate Economic students. I started off as a general UES Internal committee member at the start of the 2017-18 school year, before I was elected to be the VP of Internal for this 2018-19 school year.

During the summer of 2018, I interned for at my hometown's city hall for the Department of Public Works. My time there let me have some insight into the world of local government, including the interaction between businesses and cities to negotiate terms, contracts, and permits. I'm also thankful for the Director of Public Works, who gave me the opportunity to sit in on his meetings with city officials and commercial developers to have a better understanding of how this process works.
