I founded Cochran Coaching LLC to help you and your network. Career management and exploration can be daunting. I believe there is a better way. For anyone who understands the importance of investing in their people or themselves, I come alongside them as a coach. I work with individuals at all stages of their careers (from pre-launch to retirement careers). Most of my work focuses on mid-career professionals and young professionals who are looking to develop as leaders in their industry or who are looking for greater clarity as to what comes next. In every case, I help them to be thoughtful as they redesign their career path using best practices to find a sustainable path that is well-aligned with their needs and wants. Most of my work is a mix of in-person and remote, based on my clients' locations and needs.

As a contractor with Clark Leadership, I facilitated a peer advisory group for business owners with 1-10 employees or subcontractors. These monthly meetings brought owners into relationships with other entrepreneurs from different industries where they could enjoy camaraderie and support. Meetings emphasized continuous learning through discussions about relevant business topics and the systematic issue processing of high-urgency, current business issues.

I was the Manager of Visitor Experience at the American Folk Art Museum in New York City. In my role, I did everything from open the doors to host the Museum's Trustees. In this role, I wore many hats: I managed the gift shop (which does seven figures in sales annually), managed the 5,000 sq foot facility, oversaw the Museum's security, supported special events, welcomed visitors and customers and handled their questions or problems, managed the museum's e-commerce site and more.

My role at Digital Remedy (formerly dba CPXi) morphed over the 2 1/2 years I was with the company. I started doing outreach to journalists in the ad tech space and managing the company's social media accounts. Over time, video production was added to my responsibilities, and I interviewed employees on video for the company's YouTube Channel. Once we hired a PR firm, I became the day-to-day manager of that relationship, leading everything from award submissions to byliner production, to events support to administrative details to strategy support. I ran the internal communications push for a year, which we turned into a game (think: Harry Potter House competition). I also developed the company's app using a platform called COMO.

As a faculty assistant, I supported Professor Dawn Fotopulos (see her recommendation on my LinkedIn profile) with her Junior-level Business Strategy course by functioning as a coach and consultant to the students. I hosting regular tutoring sessions, and participated in class, adding insights and contributions. This led to the class placing in the World Finals (98th percentile/4th place out of ~250 contestants) in the CAPSIM business strategy simulation.

I helped launch the original iPhone, the iPhone 3G, and learned how to translate "tech talk" into something that the average customer could understand. I also taught classes in the Apple Store, including groups sessions about the iPhone and personal training sessions for people wanting to get more out of their Macs.
