I am a career finance & business operations professional who has obtained a specialist-level depth of understanding in many disciplines, allowing me to operate as a finance and operations generalist by having intentionally sought career progression in varying roles and responsibilities across industries, lifecycle stages and business models. I am currently the Head of Strategic Finance for The Rounds, a Series B, venture-backed tech platform for managing delivery of goods and home essentials while reducing household waste. I primarily spend my time aligning with department heads to incorporate each team's goals and roadmap into the company's guiding comprehensive financial model and strategic plan, and identifying opportunities and for growth and efficiency through analysis to then see them through implementation with proper strategic planning and project management.Prior to The Rounds, I held several full-time consulting engagements for venture-backed companies trying obtain insights and transparency from their data to better understand their financial and operational performance and its implications for capital raising viability and evaluating potential acquisition and strategic partnership offers. Prior to consulting, I was the operational Co-Founder of TapRm, a B2B SaaS solution providing ecommerce enablement, fulfillment and wholesale distribution to alcohol brands. I progressed from being the first employee of every department to managing 25+ FTEs in product, engineering, operations, customer success and finance until the company's eventual sale to LiquidRails. Prior to TapRm, I worked as a private equity investor at a firm with $1.3B AUM where I evaluated potential investments in the industrial, energy, transportation and business services sectors through management meetings and financial analysis, managed transactions throughout the deal lifecycle, and worked closely with portfolio company management on value-added projects. Prior to my private equity experience, I was an investment banking analyst, developing advanced financial models, valuation analyses, and presentation materials to execute M&A transactions.I hold an MBA from The Wharton School with concentrations in Entrepreneurial Management and Finance, and a B.S. from Cornell University in Applied Economics & Management with concentrations in Finance and Accounting, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. In my free time, I enjoy playing any and every racquet/paddle sport, exploring new cities here and abroad, going skiing, and solving puzzles of all types.
