I believe by applying a logical, reasoned thought process, there is a solution that can be reached for all problems. This is a passionate belief that extends outside of work and into all aspects of my life.To put it simply I am an engineer through and through. For me being an engineer means more than just engineer training or an engineering degree. To be an engineer is a way of thinking about and viewing the world. An engineer is the embodiment of logic and reason - with just the right amount of creativity and curiosity to be novel. My experience has taught me that to be a successful engineer and analyst, constant education and self-improvement are absolutely necessary. Over my 14 year career, I have learned 6 programming languages, a multitude of programs - from Minitab to SolidWorks to Adobe Illustrator - and the patients to recognize my short comings and acquire new skills in order to solve problems.Outside of my employment I regularly apply technical skills, spacial recognition, and aesthetic design to my hobbies as a maker, sculptor, and painter - building original skateboard designs, creating sculptural metal and clay jewelry, and abstract paintings.
