I graduated from the University of Illinois with my Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science in December 2021.In the summer of 2017 I interned at VORA Labs as a full stack web developer along with 7 other interns to help launch a new startup. During this experience I learned the importance of structured group coding, and became familiar with the agile methodology and the use of GitHub in the IT industry. I also learned how to use Ruby on Rails to create a website during my work as a full stack developer. In the summer of 2018 I worked at Kore Wireless as an intern. I worked on several proofs of concept intended to determine software preference across the entire company, and I created a piece of software that removed duplicate incoming entries via a modified bloom filter. I worked at Kore Wireless again in the summer of 2019 as an intern. I assisted in testing various database systems to determine which was best suited for the company's use case, and also worked on several POCs. Towards the end of the summer I assisted one of the development teams with maintenance of an existing web application. During September of 2019 I worked for them as an architectural consultant.In the summer of 2020 I worked remotely for Verizon Media. I helped create various metrics on their backend data systems that assist those in charge of managing the data with making design decisions to improve performance. I also created a tool to allow for easy monitoring of column access, to determine which data should be given higher priority.This past summer, the summer of 2021, I again worked remotely for Verizon Media (soon to be Yahoo). I was tasked with creating a machine learning pipeline that would allow their Flurry analytics platform to perform predictions about user behavior. It was my responsibility to research the state-of-the-art in the field, collect the data needed to perform the predictions, determine which ML model performed the task optimally, and the implement a distributed prediction model using PySpark.
