I am an independent accounting and finance professional. I have experience across the accounting and finance function, working in FP&A, technical accounting and transaction services roles. I have the knowledge and skills to help small business owners and founders with the entire suite of accounting, budgeting and planning and strategic finance initiatives. My last W2 role was at New Western as the Sr. Director of FP&A, working on building out a brand new budget and reporting package and also assisting with audit preparation and a systems conversion from Quickbooks to Net Suite. Prior to my role New Westen, I spent most of my career in transaction services at both Houlihan Lokey and KPMG. Prior to my time at Houlihan I was a senior associate working in the strategic FP&A group with CBIZ CMF. The SFP&A group at CBIZ CMF focuses finance and financial modeling expertise to help companies streamline their operations and decision making processes. Projects included a range of deliverables from fully integrated 3 statement reporting package to full budget and forecasting models.Before starting with CBIZ, I was a senior associate in the deal advisory group at KPMG. During my time with KMPG I worked in both accounting advisory services and financial due diligence. My experience includes pro-forma projections for 3 and 5 year forecasts, carve-out experience and technical support in the accounting advisory group. In my FDD experience, I completed various analyses related to net working capital pegs, new, lost and existing customer/vendor analyses, pro-forma financials, sales and expense trends, quality of earnings, net debt, etc. I have completed all of the education, examination and experience requirements set forth to become a CPA and was licensed by the State of Illinois as of September 2017. I hold an active Illinois CPA LicenseI graduated in the spring of 2016 with my MBA from Indiana University with a concentration in financial analysis.
