Responsible for the experimental flight test of single engine piston, turboprop, and business jet aircraft, including pre-production development testing and FAA certification (Part 23 and 25) testing of new and upgraded aircraft.Duties include: - Generation of flight test plans.- Pre-flight planning/briefing and coordination with various engineering departments.- Aircraft instrumentation coordination and planning.- Efficiently planning and scheduling flights and structuring test conditions.- Real time data analysis in the aircraft or telemetry station.- Post-flight data reduction and expansion.- Presentation of data analysis.- Evaluation of initial flying qualities, stability and control, and aircraft performance throughout all flight regimes. - Development and certification of aircraft modifications and systems including propulsion, avionics, pneumatic and bleed air systems, hydraulics, anti-ice and de-ice systems and flight controls. - Generation of development and certification reports.- On- and off-site flight test support.

- Performed qualifications tests on both fixed and rotary wing flight simulators. - Prepared materials for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft flight testing. - Composed a flight test report detailing flight test results and procedures for a Bell 407 helicopter.- Worked efficiently and effectively with a team of aeronautical and qualifications engineers to meet strict deadlines.
