I am a second year student studying Marketing and Entrepeneurship, in the Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati. I currently hold a part time position in Human Resources for a non-profit organization called Education At Work, and I am also pursuing my own business venture with a music service I call New Class Music. I am a very strong public speaker and with prior experience speaking at large events and for honorable occasions, I aim to actively use that skill in a future position. I hope to turn my business idea into a fully functioning company that thrives within the business world.

  I am currently employed as a part-time Human Resources Specialist and Recruiter by a non-profit organization called Education At Work. At EAW, we strive to cut down on the growing issue of student debt by supplying college students part time jobs that work around their class schedule and offer up to 6,000 dollars a year based on the student's GPA. As an HR Specialist, I actively bring in new candidates to be interviewed for positions with multiple of our different clients. I am in charge of filtering through these candidates and conducting the initial phone screening process to ensure that each student that is brought into EAW is well qualified. Another task that comes along with my job is Program Coordination. I am asked to schedule events at local colleges, universities, and community events to spread the word about our organization and reach as many college students as we can. After these events are scheduled, I go to them with a group of recruiters with the goal of filling an interest list with names of potential students. Our main mission is to let these students know of a potential opportunity to cut down on student loans/debt while earning a bi-weekly paycheck and gaining skills they will be able to use in a business setting. After experiencing a position in HR, I hope to build on skills such as communication, team management, and relationship building, so I may further my career in the business world.
